Experience The Biggest Day out In History

The Tank Museum brings the story of tanks and their crews to life in an awe-inspiring modern museum you will spend hours exploring…  Come face-to-face with over 300 tanks that shaped our history – and hear powerful stories from the soldiers that fought in them – in Dorset’s largest indoor attraction.

 

Travel

Catch a coach from North Hill (opposite The Box) at 08:15. The drive time is approximately 2.5 hours. Return to campus will be around 18:30.

 

Comfort

You will need to bring a packed lunch & drink or money to purchase your own food at the cafe on site.  We recommend you wear suitable clothing (layers), a waterproof coat, and shoes suitable for walking.


Cost

There is a £10 non-refundable contribution required for this trip. The closing date to book this trip is Friday 27th February 2026.
