Afternoon session overview:

Hands-on skills session to carry out surgical procedures on deer head models

Learning outcomes:

Demonstrate knowledge of anatomical considerations and surgical approaches to the maxillary sinus

Recognise pathology of the maxillary sinus including red flag signs and symptoms and thresholds of the interprofessional liaison

Select and apply graft materials for the maxillary sinus

Demonstrate surgical skills sinus lifting/grafting techniques on animal models including use of piezo
