We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to explore one of Cornwall’s most notorious dark tourism attractions —Bodmin Jail. This trip includes an immersive self-guided tour of the jail, featuring The Dark Walk, a cutting-edge immersive experience that combines theatrical effects and the latest technology to bring Cornwall’s dark past to life. The attraction provides an excellent example of how dark heritage can be brought to life through immersive interpretation.
Students will also be provided with coffee/tea/cake.
- 1115hrs Depart from Cookworthy
- 1200hrs Arrive at Bodmin Jail
- 1200-1400 Tour of Bodmin Jail
- 1400-1515 Tea / coffee and cake
- 1515 Depart from Bodmin Jail
- 1600 Arrive at Cookworthy
