DescriptionFace-to-face training delivered over two days in person with two remote supervision sessions at 6 weeks and 6 months.
Develop core competences in FIT through hands-on practice with individual feedback from peers and course leads. Experience FIT from a client’s perspective. We support you while you practice, with group supervision sessions at 6 weeks and 6 months after training. Successfully completing the programme and passing the assessment gives a FIT practitioner licence for 3 years, allowing you to advertise FIT as part of your service and use the FIT logo.
Once licensed to practice FIT, you will be invited annually to an optional free masterclass and be invited to a re-assessment meeting every 3 years.
This course is aimed at healthcare practitioners and psychotherapists with experience in person-centred, empathic communication. Eligible participants will have: a recognised healthcare qualification; and training in motivational interviewing or successful completion of the Communication Skills for Behaviour Change course; and completed Foundations of Functional Imagery Training.
