Description

Course duration is 6 days from Monday August 24 to Saturday August 29 inclusive. This intensive agroecology field course will be held at the Apricot Centre, Dartington. The course will include lectures by agroecological practitioners, farming advisors, and academics, as well as field activities and farm visits in the Dartington area.

 

Detailed Description

A typical day will include two lectures/ discussion periods in the morning, followed by lunch (locally produced and prepared food) and an afternoon site visit and/or practical hands-on activities (making compost, planting/pruning, digging soil pits). Transport & accommodation will not be provided, though car sharing will be organized with participants. Camping spots and hotel rooms can be prebooked at Dartington Estate and elsewhere in the Totnes area.
