Plymouth International Book Festival Friends Scheme

To help secure the future of the Plymouth International Book Festival, please join one of our membership schemes today and get some great offers and benefits, including priority booking and invites to Friends only events throughout the year. 

The Friends of Plymouth International Book Festival scheme raises funds to support writing and reading activities in the city of Plymouth and its environs, and your support will help us to reach more people in the region who might otherwise not be able to take part.

Members will be given a unique membership number which they will be asked to provide at the time of booking to be eligible for priority booking and some discounted ticket offers.

Friend membership subscription is valid for one year from the day of purchase, commencing on receipt of a completed membership form and/or when your payment has been processed and receipted.

The benefits of being a Friend.

We offer three levels of friendship, each with different benefits.

1) Friend, £20 per year

-          Priority access to the programme with advanced mailing

-          1 week priority booking ahead of the general public for event tickets

-          Exclusive invitation to one Friend event during the year

-          Discounted ticket offers on selected events during the festival

-          Discounts and special offers through the Friends e-newsletter (offered via email address only).  

2) Folio Friend - £250 per year

All of the Friend benefits plus:

-          2 weeks priority booking ahead of the general public for event tickets

-          2 complimentary tickets to the VIP launch event

-          Acknowledgement of support on the Festival website ‘Friends’ pages.

-          A personally signed book by any of our Festival authors (to be arranged in advance and subject to availability).

3) Festival Champion / Corporate Friend - £500 per year

All of the Folio Friend benefits plus:

-          Dedicated assistance with priority bookings for event tickets

-          4 complimentary tickets to the VIP launch event

-          10 complimentary tickets to be used at selected events during the Festival and annual programme.

-          Acknowledgement of support in our printed programme (including corporate logo if appropriate).

-          Opportunities to meet our authors during the festival (to be arranged in advance and subject to author availability and agreement).
